In conjunction with Senior Citizens Day (HWE) celebrated on 1 Oktober every year, four undergraduate students from the Audiology Programme, Faculty of Health Sciences (FSK), Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) participated in hearing screening services in conjunction with the Senior Citizens Day celebration. With the theme 'Ageing with Dignity: Strengthening the Care and Support System for Senior Citizens', this programme was organised by the Centre for Healthy Ageing and Wellness (HCARE), FSK, UKM and was held at Masjid An-Naim, Klang, Selangor and officiated by YBhg. Dato' Haji Mohd Fauzi bin Haji Mohd Yatim, Mayor of Shah Alam. The programme was attended by more than 500 senior citizens. Also present was Dr Wan Syafira Ishak, Head of the Audiology Programme, FSK, UKM who is also an HCARE researcher as the supervisor of the hearing screening services. 配合每年1 Oktober庆祝的乐龄人士日（HWE），马来西亚国立大学（UKM）健康科学学院（FSK）听力学课程的四名本科生参加了乐龄人士日庆祝活动的听力筛查服务。 以“有尊严地老龄化：加强乐龄人士护理与支持体系”为主题，该项目由UKM健康科学学院健康老龄化与福祉研究中心（HCARE）主办，在雪兰莪州巴生An-Naim清真寺举行，并由莎阿南市长YBhg.
