1. Wait until fully cold
Leave the car for several hours on level ground. Never open a cap or squeeze a hose while the system is hot.
等待完全冷却
车辆在平地停放数小时，系统热时绝不打开盖子或挤压软管。
2. Trace only visible hose runs
Use a light from above and keep hands away from fans and belts. Look at joints, clamps, bends and areas rubbing another part.
只检查可见软管
从上方照明并让手远离风扇皮带，查看接头、卡箍、弯折和摩擦位置。
3. Identify evidence of leakage or ageing
Dried coloured residue, wetness, swelling, cracks, oil-softened rubber or a collapsed section warrants service.
识别泄漏与老化证据
彩色结晶、潮湿、鼓胀、裂纹、油蚀变软或塌陷都需要维修。
4. Do not patch a cooling hose
Tape is not a reliable repair for a pressurised hot system. Low level, steam or temperature warning means tow rather than restart.
不要临时包扎继续开
胶带不能可靠修复高温加压系统；液位低、冒蒸汽或水温警告时应拖车，不要重启。
