Change a flat tyre with the factory jack

A roadside-only procedure for firm, level ground. Never place any part of your body under a vehicle supported only by a jack.

1. Make the location safe
Move well away from traffic onto firm, level ground. Switch on hazard lights, apply the parking brake and place the transmission in Park or first gear.
- Never change a tyre on a slope, soft shoulder, bridge or fast-traffic lane.
- Chock the wheel diagonally opposite the flat tyre.
- Passengers must wait behind a barrier or far from traffic.

2. Prepare before lifting
Use the manual to locate the exact reinforced jacking point. Remove the wheel cover and loosen each nut about a quarter turn while the tyre is still on the ground.
举升前准备
根据手册找到准确的加强型举升点；车辆仍在地面时，拆下轮盖并将每颗螺母松开约四分之一圈。
3. Lift and replace
Position the jack squarely, lift only until the flat tyre clears the ground, remove the nuts and wheel, then fit the spare.
- Hand-tighten nuts in a star/cross pattern.
- Lower until the tyre just touches, tighten in a star pattern, then lower fully and tighten again.
- Use the vehicle torque specification with a torque wrench as soon as possible.

千斤顶必须放正，只升到轮胎刚离地；拆下螺母与车轮，再装上备胎。
4. After fitting the spare
Check the spare pressure and obey its speed/distance label. Temporary spares are not normal tyres; drive directly for professional repair.

检查备胎胎压并遵守其速度和里程限制；小备胎不能长期使用，应直接前往轮胎店。
